Amber is a very sweet and affectionate Cavalier who came to SFCR as a breeder release.

She is a typical Cav and seems to love everyone. She loves toys and will carry plush squeaky toys around and hoard them :)

She is a very good girl with so much love to give.

Amber is crate trained and working hard on her housetraining.

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard - no invisible fences.
  • Amber would do well with or without a resident dog.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received minimal socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience.
