Ariel is a very sweet and affectionate Cavalier in search of her forever family.

She loves the other dogs in her foster home and enjoys their company. She is working hard on her housetraining and is crate trained.

At this time, Ariel does not show any signs/evidence of mitral valve disease.

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe and to provide her with a sense of freedom. Walking on a harness/leash is still a work in progress.
  • Resident dog to help her continue to build her confidence.

Ariel has been spayed also had a dental. She tested negative for heartworm & tick-borne disease, is current on vaccinations (rabies, DAPPL, bordetella) & monthly preventatives, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
