Cara is the sweetest little soul you shall ever meet. She came to rescue as a breeder release and with a tummy full of puppies. She was an excellent momma and is now loving life being pampered by her foster family. 

Cara does have some special medical needs and it has been decided that she will stay with the rescue indefinitely so that we can make certain she always receives the care she needs and deserves. Cara has chronic dry eye that requires drops 2-3 times a day. She also has a grade IV heart murmur with mild heart enlargement and has started Vetmedin (a heart medication given twice a day).  Her medications and heart healthy diet cost approximately $250/month.
