Coton de Tulear : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Small
Millie is a precious 8-year-old female Coton de Tulear who wants nothing more than to be your best friend. This petite girl weighs only 8 lbs! She is currently being fostered in a home with dogs, cats, and another foster puppy and she gets along wonderfully with them all. Her foster mom says that she has been a very easy dog to foster. Millie is crate trained and doing very well on her housetraining. She loves being around people and will follow you everywhere. She is quite smart and mastered both the inside and outside steps very quickly. She loves playing with all kinds of toys and really enjoys soft treats. She enjoys the other dogs but is quite independent and would do just fine as an only dog. She has a playful and energetic side but definitely enjoys just lying on the dog bed or soft blanket in the same room her foster parents are in. Millie enjoys just laying by your side and being petted or cuddled and is an absolute sweetheart! She will steal your heart very quickly.

More about MillieGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only *All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly. |
