Nora came to SFCR after being released from a commercial breeding facility.

She was very shut down when she first arrived to her SFCR foster home but is starting to discover all of the wonderful things her new life has to offer.

Nora will need a confident resident dog to help teach and guide her. She does require a physically fenced in yard to keep her safe.

Nora has taken a liking to rocks much to her foster mom's dismay. She must be supervised when outside and this is something her forever family will need to be very aware and cognizant of.

Nora will need a family that can provide her with ample exercise and mental stimulation.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard.
  • Confident resident dog to help Nora build confidence and learn how to "dog".
  • Family with the time and ability to provide Nora with daily exercise and mental stimulation.

Nora has been spayed and had a dental. She tested negative for heartworm, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500 plus tax.

More about Nora

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Cratetrained, Timid

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
