Havanese : : Female (spayed) : : Senior : : Small
Maria is a darling little havanese who made her way to SFCR after being released from a commercial breeding operation. Maria is a timid girl and needs a little extra time to warm up and acclimate to new people and surroundings. She loves her meal times and gets SO excited when her foster mom starts dishing up and passing out food bowls :) The other dogs in the home have helped Maria tremendously - she loves to be in the company of other dogs and is so much more confident with them around. A quieter household would be best for Maria - a super chaotic/active family would not be ideal for her. Maria would do ok with older, respectful children. It was discovered shortly after Maria arrived to rescue that she had a colorectal polyp - this was removed at the time of her spay/dental and sent out for histopath. We are pleased that it came back completely benign and the mass was fully excised.
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
Maris has been spayed and had a dental with extractions. She is current on vaccinations, monthly preventatives, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350 plus tax.
