Baxter and his brother Baron came to SFCR filthy, matted, and absolutely terrified of the world.

They have come a long way since arriving to rescue and are realizing just how great their life is now. They are now spunky and playful little pups and their personalities are coming out more and more everyday. 

Baxter is working hard on his housetraining and does well on a consistent schedule but it is definitely still a work in progress. He wears a belly band to help hold him accountable. 

He is starting to figure out that toys are kind of fun and entertaining, and loves bones and chews. They love food and get SO excited when it is time to eat. 

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard.
  • Family that is willing to continue working on housetraining and socialization.
  • Confident resident dog to help teach Baxter how to be a dog.

Baxter has been neutered and had an umbilical hernia repaired while in rescue. He tested negative for heartworm, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $600 plus tax.
