Henry is a very sweet and handsome cavalier ready to find that special family of his very own.

Henry came to SFCR after being released from a commercial breeding program. He is loving all that his brand new life has to offer.

Henry loves his foster mom and his favorite place to be is in her lap. Henry is very possessive of attention/affection and does not like to share, especially with other male dogs. He may do ok in a home with a female dog but no other male dogs.

Henry is doing well with his housetraining as long he is kept on a consistent schedule. He is also crate trained.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard.
  • Must be only male dog in the home.

Henry has been neutered and had a dental cleaning with 17 extractions. He tested negative for heartworm, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500 plus tax.

More about Henry

Is Not Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Cratetrained, Likes to be in your lap, Affectionate

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
