Tinsel is a super sweet Havanese pup in search of her forever family.

Tinsel loves to run around in the backyard with her brother and loves toys of all kinds. She is crate trained and doing very well with her housetraining.

Tinsel loves the cat in her foster home and is always trying to get her to play with her - she may be a bit much for a kitty who isn't used to being around dogs. Tinsel would really, really like to have another dog to play with.

Tinsel is an awesome little gal with so much personality!

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard preferred.
  • Family with the time and patience needed to raise, train, and socialize a puppy.
  • Resident dog preferred.

Tinsel has been spayed, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $700 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
