Debbie is a sweet Goldendoodle who came to SFCR after being released from a commercial breeding facility. She was very shut down when she first arrived to foster care and is making slow but steady progress. She will need a patient family willing to give her ample time to adjust and acclimate.

Debbie is crate trained and working hard on her housetraining but has a ways to go. She will need continued consistency in her forever home.

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard.
  • Confident resident dog to help Debbie come out of her shell and learn how to "dog".
  • Family with the time and patience required to raise, socialize, and train a puppy.

Debbie has been spayed, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $600 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
