Peppa is a super sweet breeder release chihuahua. She is loving her new life and all that it has to offer.

Peppa is doing so well with her housetraining and is crate trained. She loves toys and will carry them into her crate - one by one. She loves to be with her foster home and follows her around the house and backyard.

Peppa does very well with the other dogs in her foster home and seems to enjoy their company. She doesn't mind the cat either. 

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard - Peppa is a breeder release dog and not familiar or comfortable walking on a leash/harness. A physical fence is required for her safety.
  • Resident dog preferred but not required

Peppa has been spayed and received an extensive dental while in rescue. She is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $450 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
