Myrtle is a very sweet double dapple dachshund who is loving the comforts of her foster home. Myrtle has a condition called microphthalmia which is common in double dapple dachshunds. Her left eye is the worst - she has no vision in it at all and it is severely underdeveloped. Her right eye is affected but she is able to see out of it. Myrtle saw a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist and because her left eye is sunken in so badly it would make Myrtle most comfortable to have the eye removed. Myrtle will be having surgery in the next few weeks, once she has recovered, she will be ready to find her perfect forever family. Myrtle is in need of sponsors to help cover her specialty care. Can you be one of Myrtle's sponsors? More about MyrtleGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Likes to play with toys, Affectionate
