Dottie is the only surviving puppy of her mommy’s litter, so she was spoiled by her mama and her foster family. Dottie is a typical spunky puppy, and a big white fluff ball. She loves to play “chase you around the yard” and loves her foster brothers.

She has a cute personality and tilts her when you speak to her just like her momma does. When you talk to her, she barks back and is quite the conversationalist.

Dottie is doing excellent with house training for a puppy her age!

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences. Dottie LOVES nothing more than being outside in her foster mom’s fenced in backyard.
  • Family with the time and patience required to properly train & socialize a puppy.
  • Due to Dottie’s size, children in the home must be at least 5 years old.
  • LOCAL adoption only. Dottie is scheduled to be spayed on 8/12/24 with our rescue veterinarian. Her spay surgery is included in the adoption fee and paid for by the rescue.

Dottie is current on age-appropriate vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $700 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
