Jude is a beautiful English Golden Retriever in search of her forever family. She is a very sweet dog and has done so well with her foster family.

Jude is a breeder release dog and has not known life inside of a home, with a family prior to coming to SFCR. Everything has been brand new to her. 

Jude is crate trained and doing very well with her housetraining. She loves other dogs and does fine with cats too.

 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe.
  • Confident (similar sized) resident dog to help teach her the ropes.
  • Patient family willing to help Jude build confidence and come out of her shell.

Jude has been spayed & received a dental cleaning while in rescue. She tested negative for heartworm disease, is current on vaccinations & monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400 plus tax.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne disease, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
