Rene is a sweetheart who loves to play and adores children. She has REALLY enjoyed spending time at the lake with her foster family and loves to swim and go for boat rides. Rene has done great with housetraining and doesn't mind being in a crate. She loves toys - especially ones that squeak! Rene will need a family that has time to teach her manners and basic obedience, as well as provide her with the exercise she needs and desires. She is a super affectionate girl with so much love to give! Rene is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, was treated for heartworm while in rescue, started on monthly heartworm & flea/tick prevention, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400 plus tax. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they may need extra time to adjust and settle in. Older children are often a great fit for our dogs, and family's with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may require a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
